A rapidly growing number of organizations are turning to Web services as a means of bringing increased agility to their core business systems. A key part of this increased agility is better access to real-time business content in order to address such business requests as: Prompt notification of discrepancies in orders and inventory, particularly regarding high-value customers, promotional offers, etc. Enabling our human resources staff to access all information critical to their job functions, while enforcing access privileges to shield them from information outside of their authorization The ability to log transactions as they occur and proactively send messages to employees or partners if there is an application break.
